A Couple Frogs A Couple Kisses

I’ve had my fair share of both amazing and horrific experiences with men. I’m the type that falls in love and definitely one to settle, so I’m sure you can imagine how colorful my dating experiences have been. Sometimes things end well, sometimes they don’t. But the one thing that is yet to change is that things always end!

People are what make relationships complicated! You’re either too available or not available enough, too complex, too emotional, picky, insatiable, stubborn… Spending irreplaceable time not being able to find that one person who is absolutely content with the true you can be pretty frustrating. It’s such a rough place to be in; your sanity is stretched and you’re not the best version of yourself. Then there’s the issue of heartbreak! People are afraid to fall in love again for the fear of another failed relationship and the emotional trauma that comes with it. That’s not me by the way. I’m OK with having my heart broken and you should too, in fact. That’s what being in love is. It’s having your heart broken every time you miss your companion, every time you have to say goodbye, every time you get a little jealous or worried. Heartbreaks only remind us we’re in love and you can’t avoid it in relationships. Even those (relationships) that never end still bring us some grief. I find it ridiculously funny that as human beings we have so many fears and regrets yet, we look back on all we missed out on and wish to relive those significant memories.

So my question is “are you willing to take that leap of faith? Willing let loose with high expectations at the same time anticipating the worse?” That’s a high risk only a few would dare to take. But that’s the challenge; go after that one thing you fear the most and make it work! It’s always going to be OK. You will always come out winning!
